Dennis Van Hoogstraten Uses Ogre Solid to set National Record

     24 year old Dennis van Hoogstraten of Nijmegen, began bowling when he was 10 years old. He quickly became a member of the Netherlands national youth team, and bowled in the European Championship when he was just 16. In 2002, Dennis decided to put bowling on hold, while he continued his education.

Willie Wells Wins 60+ High Roller

     Coming into the High Roller, Willie Wells informed everyone that if given the opportunity to use his New Breed Particle Pearl, he would win at least one event. Well, during the 60+ portion of the event, he did just that. After averaging 232 for the qualifying (215 – 256 – 225: 696), Willie barely made it past the first round, striking out in the tenth to defeat Jocko Mangin 216-215. From that point on, Willie put on a show destroying his competition by 75, 63, 46, 26, and 54 pins respectively to bring home a $10,000 payday.

Clark and Carl Poelzer Win USBC Open Championships Doubles Event

 

     Visionary Staff Member Clark Poelzer and his son Carl Poelzer have done something no other father son duo has accomplished….win doubles at the USBC Open Championships.

     Carl, used the Gryphon SE to fire games of 238, 254 and 269 to lead the effort, while Clark used a Samurai and added games of 214, 248 and 242.
