Spotlight on staff member Clark Poelzer

Clark Poelzer (VBP staffer) of Arden Hills, MN wins 60 & Over Senior High Roller!

After making it through qualifying using a combination of Visionary equipment including the TCBA Classic, Clark was ready for match play. Once there, he faced a former High Roller Champion in each and every round. Though it was no easy task, with the combination of Visionary equipment and Clark’s bowling talent, he managed to climb his way to the top! Clark is now a 2 time winner of this event with his first win coming in 2006.

One of Clark’s teammates back in Minnesota, Dave Bordsen was unstoppable in the Minneapolis Senior Masters. Using his Mixed Breed Pearl and Purple/Black Ogre Pearl, Dave dominated the field, winning this tournament while averaging 231.87 in the 8 games of qualifying and 242.5 in match play. Very impressive!

We also want to congratulate Katie Ann Sopp, of St. Paul, MN for her win at the 2013 St. Paul/Mpls/USBC Queens! Katie Ann is a newer convert to Visionary equipment, thanks to her coach…Clark Poelzer. Katie Mae Pritchard, another all Visionary, all the time bowler, finished runner-up to Katie Ann in the Queens. She also happens to be the daughter of …you guessed it…Clark Poelzer. The two were also on the winning team at both the Minneapolis Association and St. Paul Association City Tournaments. Katie Ann Sopp’s other recent successes include the St. Paul Association City All Events title and the Garden Center Women’s Single and All Events titles. Congratulations to all!!
