Balls with the Reactive Particle Coverstock
AMB Centaur Particle
Designed with the extreme oil patterns in mind, the Centaur-AMB Particle will chew through the oil like it’s not even there. Using the high flaring AMB core design in combination with our new high load particle coverstock, this ball will hook when nothing else will. If you are in need of a heavy oil ball, than look no further. You will not find more raw power in a ball anywhere.
The AMB Particle generates an extreme amount of traction on the lanes and therefore will roll sooner and not have the backend snap like the Bronze AMB. This ball is designed for oil, Oil, OIL !! By using the AMB cap to create an Anti-Mass Bias (negative mass bias on the back side) it allows the ball to have a lower RG than the original DC core while maintaining a high differential. It also helps maintain more of the core dynamics for most drillings. In the case with most strong Mass bias balls, when drilling the thumb – you remove a large portion of the heavy core or cap used to create the bias, resulting in less of the core’s original dynamics. BUT, with the AMB core, you drill into lighter coverstock and save almost all of the original core shape – retaining the true reaction originally designed by the core. The Centaur-AMB uses a modified version of the Centaur core design, and a new line of coverstocks.
*** This is a modified version – not the original Centaur core. The bottom arm was lengthened, the densities changed, the top flip cap was made heavier and the ultra-light “AMB” cap was created on the back side. The result is a very high differential core producing high flare (usually 5″ or more). The core produces much backend than the Green/Blue Centaur ***
The "granite" GARGOYLE utilizes a particle technology cover stock from Visionary Bowling Products. Using a reactive/particle cover stock, this ball provides better length and more snap on the back end than other particle balls available. If you liked the green pearl Gargoyle, you'll love this as a complimentary ball for your arsenal.
While the other gargoyle covers the med-lighter oil conditions, the Granite Gargoyle will work best on heavy-med. oil patterns. The combination of the two Gargoyles offer a 1-2 punch that covers more conditions with just two balls than any other combination available. Both Gargoyles offer all the performance of the top end balls but at a lower cost. This Gargoyle has the same devastating core design used in the Green Pearl Gargoyle, wrapped with a newly developed particle cover stock.
Purple Ice Executioner
This Executioner was designed to combat the toughest of lane conditions. This light load particle pearl rolls like an old urethane on steroids, with the hit and carry of a strong reactive. With the executioner core and a newly designed coverstock, this ball is a must have for tournament and tough house conditions. This is NOT a monster hooker, but what this ball does offer is CONTROL - the best component when the lanes are not forgiving.
This ball features Visionary's dominating Executioner core. The core/cover combination produces a slightly higher RG than the other 2 executioners, but retains the same built in mass bias with the bottom neck at a 30 degree angle. The mass bias can be ignored and drilled like a standard two piece with great results, or the angled neck can be treated like any mass bias for exotic drillings. The angled neck is located on a line from the Pin through the CG at a distance 11-1/4" from the pin past the CG.
Burgundy Particle Gryphon
By surrounding this core with a reactive based high load particle coverstock, we have created a ball that not only reads the midlanes well, but delivers a strong backend move that bowlers desire. This ball can be left in box condition for most med-heavy oil conditions, dulled up for extremely heavy oil patterns, or polished to give it more length and stronger backends.
When the oil is too long or too heavy for the Blue Sparkle Gryphon - this is the ball to go to. This ball was designed to read the midlanes but still retain energy for a stronger back end than most particle balls produced.
Starting with the original Warlock core (from the Blue and Orange Warlocks and the Sorcerer), the bottom was cut off to shorten the inner portion of the core. This lowers the differential slightly to help retain some length and energy for the back. Then it is wrapped with a lighter wrap allowing us to use a heavier inner core to help the ball read the midlane. The core is incased with a new high load particle with a reactive base.
